PRESS: Mercedes-Benz mulling sale of Russian assets

MOSCOW, Jul 11 (PRIME) -- Mercedes-Benz is considering selling the property of affiliate distributor Mercedes-Benz Rus to dealers Panavto, Avtodom, Avilon and Major, business daily Kommersant reported on Monday citing sources.

The assets include the unsold stock of cars, which is why the dealer might get the right to sell the cars, a source said. The deal does not include a plant in the Moscow Region, which was earlier suspended.
